Before the Procedure: 

• Consultation: 

Before applying aligners, your consultation will be done. During this, the dentist will take your pictures and dental models. 

• Preparation:

After that, a digital model will be created to check whether your teeth can be corrected with aligners alone or if they will require braces. Once this decision is made, your models and pictures will be sent to create a visual model, and based on that, your total treatment plan will be prepared. 

• Time Period: 

This plan will include aligners that are changed approximately every 15 days to track your progress.

Procedure Details: 

• Initial checkup: 

If we start first, the very first thing we have to do is take an X-ray to see the condition of your teeth and your bone. 

• 3D Scan: 

After that, we do a 3D scan from which we take a virtual impression of the teeth on which the aligners are made.

• First Fitting: 

Then those aligners are fitted into your mouth by your orthodontist for the first time, but after that, you have to remove them yourself and put them on yourself. 

• Duration for wearing each set: 

One set of aligners has to be worn for almost 15 days, and during the 15-day duration, you must wear them for at least 22 hours. If you do not wear them for 22 hours, the treatment results will not come.

• Eating and Brushing: 

You must not eat food while wearing the aligner. You have to take the aligner out to eat food, and before putting the aligner back, you must brush so that no food or food particles get stuck between the aligner and your teeth. 

• Changing Aligners:

After that, the usual duration of the aligner, as I said, is 15 days. After 15 days you are given the next set of aligners.  

• Finishing up:

the first one you wore, and after 15 days you put the next set, and like this, your 20 × 15 days whatever your duration is, in that your total treatment is completed.

• Lab and delivery: 

your 3D scan has gone to our printing lab, from there the aligner has come back to you, you will reach the clinic, the orthodontist will give you the aligners in this box.
